Commander TX-20
Accessories
TX-20 is packaged with a blaster, rocket launcher, and hologram of Wat Tambor.
Look and Feel
This character shows up quite a bit in The Clone Wars, but this version is from the episode Innocents of Ryloth. The look of the figure is great with the buttons on his arm and symbols on his chest. His head has a great sculpt and I really love how the eyes look more menacing than the traditional full circles. Paint apps are nicely done but there really isn't a whole lot to the paint. TX-20 is about 75 percent blue.
Articulation
Commander TX-20 has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, hips, and ankles. He also features a swivel or hinge joints in the ankles, torso, and wrists. I am not a fan of the articulation on this figure. Hasbro did give us ball-hinged hips and ankles, but no knee joints? This really limits how you can pose the figure.
Overall Reaction
TX-20 is a cool figure but for collectors outside The Clone Wars line it just doesn't fit in. His color scheme just doesn't fit in with the movie accurate figure like some Clone Wars figures do. As a Clone Wars figure I think he is a great addition to a collection for showing new and different designs, building dioramas, or just showing off all the Clone Wars figures.
