Obi-Wan Kenobi (Cold Weather Gear)

Accessories
Obi-Wan Kenobi is packaged with a lightsaber, goggles, and removable hood.

Look and Feel
This look for Obi-Wan Kenobi screams Empire Strikes Back. I see a mix of Luke and Han in cold weather gear and I enjoyed seeing this rendition of the character. Kenobi is a great likeness of the character we see in the episode Trespass. The outer jacket looks fantastic, but impedes movement of the legs and it slightly restricts arm movement. I am not a fan of goggles on any action figure as they never seem to work as they should, but this figure is probably the best out off all the figures with goggles. I did have to jam the goggles on Kenobi's head, but they did look good once I put the hood on over it. There is a lot you can do with this figure as far as creating a look whether you have the hood on or off or goggles on or off. Once again, just barely this figure does pass the two handed lightsaber test.

Articulation
Obi-Wan Kenobi has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows and knees. He also features a swivel joints in the wrists, waist, and hips. Sadly yet again we get a Clone Wars figure without ankle articulation.

Overall Reaction
For me this is a fun character to have seeing as we have gotten a snow gear Anakin, Rex, and a Thi-Sen figure where you could recreate the Trespass episode, but I highly doubt that I ever would. I am more excited about seeing an Empire Strikes Back flair for the figure instead. All in all I enjoy having this figure, but certainly can understand why many collectors would skip him.
