The Clone Wars
Toys R Us Exclusive
Nikto Guard

Accessories
The Nikto Guard is packaged with a blaster, hood, and rifle.

Look and Feel
The Nikto Guard is a great looking figure when looking at detail and sculpt, but falls down on articulation. His head was sculpted well and the paint apps are very cool. I like the bag he comes with as well, but was annoyed that you can't put his blaster in it. Unfortunately like most weapons that come out from Hasbro these days, they are made of cheap plastic and can bend easily. The rifle and blaster in this are no exceptions. I do like the hood as it fits on the figure very well and give this figure a cool uniformed look.

Articulation
The Nikto Guard has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders and elbows. He features swivel joints in the waist and hips. Sadly this figure was produced when the Clone Wars line was just starting and gives us no leg articulation that was standard with those figures.

Overall Reaction
When I saw we were getting this figure I was very excited as he is a Jabba's henchman, but after opening the figure I am disappointed due to the lack of leg articulation. Luckily for me I got this figure for free when purchasing $30.00 worth of Star Wars items at TRU and didn't have to pay the $10.99 they are asking for a figure that has no leg articulation. If I had to pay for this figure I think I would have just skipped over him. It is really too bad that Hasbro didn't include him in the Jabba battlepack because I would have bought that pack. Instead Jabba was packaged with a droid that really didn't excite me enough to pick up the pack. The $10.99 is a hug deterrent for collectors to pick him up as you aren't getting your moneys worth with a subpar figure.
