Spacetrooper

Accessories
The Spacetrooper is packaged with a backpack and a build-a-droid piece.

Look and Feel
The Spacetrooper is from the Heir to the Empire book. Since this book was made into a comic there are drawings of this character and the figure seems to be a good representation of this character. Due to the Spacetrooper's oversized helmet, the range of movement is restricted. This figure isn't packed with any weapons as the suit has blasters mounted to it. Personally with the well sculpted hands I wish that there were blasters for this figure to hold, but I understand why there are none. The shoulders also have movement issues as there are pieces of armor that are attached. These pieces can be removed to improve movement, but the figure just doesn't look right without them. The suit does have a lot of detail and I really like how the boots give the figure a space feel. In comparison to the Power of the Force version of this character, this new version is a huge upgrade.

Articulation
The Spacetrooper has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, torso, knees, and ankles. There are also swivel joints in the wrists and hips.

Overall Reaction
This is an interesting figure and had it been more available would have been a prime candidate for troop building. As stated before I really would have like a weapon for his hands, but being a space version of the stormtrooper it makes sense that the character would be better served by having his weapons attached to his armor. If you bought this figure and immediately opened him you may have saved yourself some disappoint as I left mine in the package for several months because I didn't have time to review him. This caused the yellow build-a-droid piece to slightly yellow the left leg as I think the paint that was applied to the piece was either not completely dry or just was very poor paint. People thinking of picking this figure up on the secondary market should take this into consideration when determining how much they want to pay as I suspect this is an issue with most Spacetroopers because of his white armor.
