The Legacy Collection
Comic 2-Packs
Clone Commander and Clone Trooper (Kashyyyk)
Accessories
Clone Commander comes with a blaster and blaster rifle.
Clone Trooper comes with a blaster.
Both figures are packed with Republic #83.
Look and Feel
Clone Commander - We have gotten this figure before as Commander Appo. Hasbro slapped some camo on him and tada... new figure. This figure doesn't have a removable head and to me that is the way to go as you don't get a misshaped helmet or the head looks too big for the body.
Clone Trooper - We have pretty much gotten this figure before with Quinlan Vos in a comic pack. This time Hasbro popped an already used head on and BAM a slightly new figure. All in all Hasbro did well with this figure the first time, but one of the issues I have is that the removable helmet looks huge on this guy and the new head makes the figure look like he has no neck.
Articulation
Clone Commander sports ball hinged joints in the head, shoulders, torso, elbows, knees, and ankles. He also has swivel joints in the hips and wrist.
Clone Trooper sports ball hinged joints in the head, shoulders, torso, elbows, knees, and ankles. He also has swivel joints in the hips and wrist.
Overall Reaction
This set is for those that want to troop build or enjoy the camo versions of the figures from Kashyyyk. I am a troop builder, but tend to only troop build the OT figures. For me I bought this pack because I really like the camo troopers. For $13.99 a repaint and essentially a repack is appropriately priced. I just wish they did a better job with the Clone Troopers head.
