The Clone Wars
Wave 6
Clone Wars #35
Padme Amidala
Accessories
Padme comes with a blaster, canon, launching hook with line attached.
Look and Feel
This is one of the best Padme figure I have ever bought. She looks exactly the way she did in the episode and is extremely detailed right down to her braids. Paint apps are wonderful as well. I would say the only drawback to Padme is that her elbows are a bit large, but I will take that in trade for the articulation. Padme's arms are just very narrow. I also love getting working holsters on a figure!
Articulation
Padme's articulation is a bit of a weak spot considering that this is an adventure version. Padme has ball-hinged neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees. She also has swivel forearms, waist, and hips. I personally like wrist articulation over forearm and with Padme's chucky boots there could have been some joints fit in there.
Overall Reaction
As stated before I love the look of this figure. I don't think I will use this figure in a diorama so the lack of articulation in some areas is ok with me. I really don't understand the logic with all the pack-ins we get with Clone Wars figures and this one really has me taken back. I don't remember Padme (other than in The Phantom Menace) ever using such a device. I suppose I will just toss it to the side. Would have be nice to get added articulation instead!
