Look and Feel
I really don't think this R2 looks like the one that was shot by the Jawas. Sure he comes with the electricity that flows around his head, but this is the cleanest droid I have seen to roll through Tatooine! Other than that he is just the regular everyday astromech we have gotten a thousand times. When I was purchasing the figure I was very excited to see on the back that it shows R2 with the saw he uses in Return of the Jedi, but I was disappointed when I opened the figure to find that this was not given to us.

Articulation
R2 has a rotating dome that will raise or lower his scope, swivel legs, and hinged ankles.

Overall Reaction
Easily one of the most annoying figures for me in 2009! I purchased him twice with droid pieces to the Revenge of the Sith and it took me forever to find him with the pieces to R3-A2. When I finally opened him up I found to my dismay that he is pretty much just another VOTC R2 with some blue junk attached to him. That is definitely worth my $8.00. Thank god for Walmart's price roll back! The only reason to buy this figure is to get the droid piece which in case you are wondering is ONLY packed with R2! Thanks Hasbro!
