Princess Leia - Slave Girl

Accessories
Princess Leia is packaged with a drinking glass, skiff guard battle staff, swappable legs, and a build-a-droid piece.

Look and Feel
This is a flat out great looking figure (especially when using her sitting legs). Hasbro really stepped it up on this figure giving up to ways to display the iconic Slave Leia by packing in an extra set of legs. Not only that but the sculpt of this figure is incredible. It is a far cry from the Han Solo head of the Power of the Force II Princess Leia in white gown. I was also very pleased to get a soft goods skirt on this figure in the standing pose. It really adds a lot when posing her. The goblet and staff were a nice add in, but I never remember Leia using or holding these items.

Articulation
Leia features ball-hinged neck, shoulders, elbows, ankles and knees while in the standing configuration. She loses her leg articulation in the seated configuration. In addition she has swivel wrists, waist, and hips in the standing configuration, but loses the hip swivel when seated. A very well articulated figure indeed!

Overall Reaction
When I put Leia in the sitting configuration this is probably one of the best figure I have gotten in a long time! She looks fantastic and looks even better when put with my Vintage Jabba on throne. Having said that, I do have two gripes when Leia is in the standing configuration. The first one is really a knit pick as there seems to be a slight gap in the waist when the legs are attached. This might only be my figure as I have seen photos of her on line where no gap is seen, but to be honest is anyone standing this figure up? My second gripe is with her standing legs. I really had to bend them around to get her to stand for my photo above. On my figure the left hand leg was bent in. In my estimation I believe this to be a result of poor plastic much like the junk we get in the battle droid's legs, but as I said before I will never have this figure standing. I plugged that torso into the seated legs and there is will stay with my Jabba the Hutt. Now if I could only find a way to extend her chain to Jabba. Perhaps we will get a chain to connect to her in the rumored Jabba.
