Look and Feel
Admiral Ackbar is a flat out fantastic figure that finally gives us an accurate version. Ackbar head and arm sculpts are a thing of beauty and truly captures how he looks in the movie. Not to mention the paint apps used on that big squid head and lobster like arms. The rest of the body is nicely done as well. I do wish that the yellow stripe on his pant legs was a bit more vibrant. He also holds his accessories exceptionally well. Hasbro yet again hit a homerun with this figure.

Articulation
Admiral Ackbar has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees. He has swivel joints in the waist, hips, and forearms.

Overall Reaction
I thought that this figure was going to pick the pick of the wave and I must say that there really wasn't anything negative about this figure to knock him out of the top spot except for the surprisingly good Gammorean Guard. Ackbar is everything I ever wanted the figure to be. The detail is spot on and he is very well articulated for what you see this character do in the movies. Hasbro really should be applauded yet again for this figure as now collectors don't have to look at that He-Man version from POTF2 anymore!
