Gamorrean Guard

Accessories
The Gamorrean Guard is packaged with an ax, hatchet, removable head piece, and staff.

Look and Feel
I was very concerned about this figure when I saw the puffball skirt that Hasbro gave this figure, but after opening the Gamorrean Guard I couldn't be more pleased. This is quite simply a perfect representation of the character seen in Jabba's Palace. He comes with so many extras that you can display him in any incarnation you can imagine and he holds them all perfectly. He comes with a removable head piece that if you spend some time with, you can get it to sit flush with his head.  If you don't like the headpiece you can leave it out. The detail of this figure is astounding. His shoulder straps are not molded plastic and hang on the figure and they actually look like leather. The Gamorrean Guard's armor looks spot on as well and the skirt just doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The paint apps are fantastic and there is a glossy type of paint used that even makes the figure appear to drool. I usually knock Hasbro for something on a figure, but I have to give them a standing ovation, this figure is perfect in my eyes!

Articulation
The Gamorrean Guard has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles. He has swivel joints in the waist, hips, and wrists.

Overall Reaction
I have never been happier with a purchase than I am with this figure. I have wanted an accurate and fully articulated Gamorrean Guard for a long time and now I have him. The only problem is that I want more, a lot more! I will be troop building this figure heavily to fill out my dioramas. Final verdict, MUST BUY!
