Jabba the Hutt and Oola

Accessories
Jabba the Hutt and Oola are packaged with Jabba's dais, fish bowl (for lack of a better term), shelf, pillows, and Salacious Crumb.

Look and Feel
Jabba the Hutt is without a doubt the best version of this character we have ever gotten. He has a new fantastic paint app, but for my tastes is a little to yellow in the front. The Jabba is not made of hard plastic, but more a rubber skin over a plastic skeleton. This has me worried of how this piece will stand the test of time as my daughter got a doll with a similar type rubber skin. After a few days this skin split and actually fell off the dolls head. Hopefully this won't happen. When putting Jabba on his dais, I have had some issues of placing him with his fish bowl and shelf as I can't seem to get these pieces to sit in a way that looks as it did in the movie. Jabba does have a tail that you are able to bend and twist, but mine seems to just bend back to the way it was produced. Along with Jabba we were given some pieces to help replicate his dais as it looks in the film. In my opinion, the fish bowl seems to be a bit too tall and the pipe is now a tiny mouth piece, but this are small issues. I do love the pillows that are packed in as well as the rug that hangs off the front of the dais. Another item to put up with Jabba is a Salacious Crumb figure. Now this is the same figure we were given in the TAC line with C-3PO, but it is a figure that Hasbro has done very well. The look is spot on and the articulation really helps to pose this figure almost any way you want. Finally we get a new Oola figure in this pack as well. Oola comes with a string attached to her so that you can simulate the chain that connects Oola to Jabba. The figure itself is very well done with soft goods and a lot of attention to detail.

Articulation
Jabba features ball-hinged shoulders, elbow, and a swivel waist.
Oola features ball-hinged head, shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles. In addition, she has swivel joints in the waist, hips, and wrists.
Salacious Crumb features ball-hinged shoulders and hips.

Overall Reaction
The Jabba set was a slightly pricy exclusive and had the price depended upon when you picked him up. For some he was around $35, but was also seen on shelves for a few dollars more. Having said that, you really do get a lot for your money in this pack. There are plenty of extras and getting a new Jabba, Oola, and dais really makes it worth your while. As stated above there does seem to be some proportion issues and my Jabba's tail really doesn't seem to work as it was intended, but by no means are this issues cause for passing on this piece. It is a must have for all collectors in my opinion and really looks fantastic in my Jabba's throne room diorama. Another fantastic job by Hasbro!
