Look and Feel
The Klaatu figure in the original vintage line was always one of my favorites. He looked cool had a somewhat realistic fur skirt and I always loved the vibro staff weapon. This figure does a fantastic job of recreating that old vintage figure and made plenty of improvements. The sculpt of this figure is wonderful, from the elaborate detail of the face to even including the straps that are tied on his jacket, this figure delivers. Another nice touch was making his bandolier a free floating one. This just adds more of a realistic quality to the figure that I really appreciate. Wooof's skirt certainly looks accurate and really makes me think of that figure I had when I was a kid. The paint apps are good, but for some reason I feel like his skin color is just slightly off. I think I would have liked a bit more brown worked into the green. With all the wonderful work Hasbro did on this figure I think I am more blown away by the weapons. Having a holster for a blaster on any figure just makes me happy as it gives you a more realistic feel, but the construction of the vibro staff is what I have been wanting for years. Finally we get a staff that is not rubbery and bends because gravity is pushing on it. Now if Hasbro could put a few of those staffs in a Saga Legends weapon pouch I would just be elated!

Articulation
Wooof has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. He has swivel joints in the waist, hips, and wrists.

Overall Reaction
I am always exited to get a Jabba's denizen and Wooof is no exception. Hasbro has hit yet another homerun with this figure and above that has given a perfect updated version of a vintage figure. I was only put off by his hood that I wish would click into place a bit more as depending on the angle of the figure's head the hood seems to lift slightly off the head. I also like the custom potential for this figure as I could use his head or body to make additional denizens for Jabba's court.
