The Legacy Collection
Wave 7
Bulid-a-Droid
HK-47
Accessories
HK-47 comes with a blaster rifle.
Look and Feel
Being a big droid collector and a fan of the KOTOR video games it is nice to see this figure, however, why am I getting him with an Attack of the Clones wave? I am sure there are about 800 droids that have been cataloged on various websites that Hasbro could have chosen. HK-47 is a very good likeness from the video game and will fit nicely into any scene heavily populated by droids.
Articulation
Being a build-a-droid, HK-47's articulation has limitations. He has swivel neck shoulders, hips, and wrists. He also features ball-hinged elbows, knees, ankles, and torso (they must have thrown me a bone for not being able to hinge the other parts). For a droid HK has enough articulation for me.
Overall Reaction
As stated before I am not sure why we are getting this droid in this wave, but I will take him. He is a very cool droid to have. Am I happy with having to pick up the entire wave to get him? I have to say yes. I am very happy with Typho, Owen, and Obi-Wan, happy with Tarados Gon and Beru, and like the customize fodder I got off Anakin. If I didn't want the Anakin figure I could have just bought another Hoth Rebel soldier to pick up the piece. If not there is always Ebay!
