My Cabinets I built these cabinets last year. The glass greatly reduces the dust. I also tried to maximize the width, depth, and height to provide the most most possible room for my collection (especially big items like the AT-AT, AT-TE, and Fambaa). I wasn't sure about the mirror back but I decided to go with it and I'm happy I did.
Phase 1 (building them):
Phase 2 (filling them):
The BMF Table
I got this idea from one of my fellow CT buddies who helped found DewbackPatrol. He suggested a "fishbowl table" to minimize space as the BMF could be displayed in the table. When I couldn't find a good fit table online, I made one.
Other Stuff
2 Wal-Mart cabinets (not bad for Wal-Mart).
They have a glass front and side doors.
Former oak cabinets that I turned into displays (thanks to RedLeader's suggestion!) and SW blinds.
A small wall cabinet I made that is currently unoccupied / a small wall display my wife bought / some Vaders in plastic cases.
The first cabinet I ever bought with some Transformers and G.I.Joe (R2-D2 cooler on the side).
My newest (unfinished) cabinet. When finished it will have the largest shelves at about 5 feet long and 22 inches deep. This will be for large dioramas like the Hoth scene with AT-ATs. I left room on the top for ships that just won't fit like the gunships.
If anyone is interested to know how I built any of these cases or if you have some feedback about my collection, let me know. I could probably add a feature to DewbackPatrol.
